We've doing web development for about 20 years, professionally for over 7 years, but just added hosting to the mix and officially established Bluff City Host & Web Services in 2014.
What is your primary product or service?
Website development and hosting. We specialize in creating sites for individuals, small businesses and especially for non-profit and educational organizations. We now also offer hosting and domain registration, for a one stop shop for clients to establish an online presence.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our sites are usually based on one of the popular open source content management or shopping cart systems, primarily Joomla and Prestashop. With these systems, we do the initial site or shop setup and provide the client with training and information to then maintain the site with minimal to no additional expense. This is especially useful for non profit organizations and individuals with a low budget. At the same time, though, we are always available to provide any support needed, at reasonable rates.
What type of payments do you accept?
Major credit cards and PayPal
Which areas do you service?
Worldwide, but we prefer to work with local clients in the Memphis area so that we can meet face to face to better understand clients' needs and goals.
